I'm Hastie, a graphic designer based in Hertfordshire.

I studied industrial design, but somewhere along the line I realised I was far more interested in how people understand information than in designing kettles.

​

Since then, I've worked across print, digital, photography, video and email marketing, usually helping teams untangle complicated ideas and turn them into something people can understand in under thirty seconds.

​

I like clean layouts, thoughtful typography and solving problems with design. I also enjoy pretending that "just one small change" won't somehow turn into twenty-seven emails.​

Outside of design, you'll usually find me in the allotment trying to outwit slugs, behind a camera or a set of fishing rods and sometimes trying to keep the population numbers of clay pigeons low.
